Awarded gold medals for most innovative new product and best overall capo in the 2008 Players Choice Awards, the G7th Performance Capo is a revolutionary new mechanism that allows ultra-precise placement and clamping without pulling the strings of your instrument out of tune. It's is easily squeezed into place with one hand, and released using the lever on the back. When not in use, it stores neatly on the end of your instrument's headstock. This version is designed for 6-string guitars (both acoustic and electric).

The G7th Performance for six-string guitars. The G7th Performance capo's patented clutch mechanism consists of just three elements: a fixed hub, a moving hub, and a spring whose inside diameter is just slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the two hubs. When the spring is forced over the two hubs, attempting to rotate in the direction which opens the capo wraps it down tightly on the hubs, positively engaging them. Rotation in the other direction, to tighten the capo onto the strings, is not restricted. To release the capo, the control tang is moved in the direction to unwind the spring, thus releasing the clutch.

These strings have a highly flexible, multi-strand nylon core and cater for artists who feel uncomfortable with steel strings. The resounding success of our Dominant string owes a lot to its similarity in tone and response to gut strings, without gut's attendant drawbacks. The sound of the Dominant string is full and mellow, yet rich in overtones. Its radiance, its ability to project sound without being metallic, comes to the fore both in arco and pizzicato. Comparable in sound to gut, without gut's disadvantages. Other advantages are Dominant's effortless response to intricate fingering and its tuning stability even under extreme atmospheric conditions. But Dominant's beauty of tone is not as long lasting as that of a steel string, a price the discerning musician will be prepared to pay for this quality of sound. Dominant strings should be changed at appropriate intervals to ensure continuity of tone color. N.B. The playing and tuning peg length of the string are critical, so the string used should be exactly matched to the instrument's measurements.

Thomastik Infeld Red and Blue strings are relatively insensitive to humidity changes, break in quickly, and have a relatively low tension. A new synthetic, composite core gives Infeld Red and Blue strings a full sound and a longer life span than other synthetic strings. The Infeld strings are also responsive to different playing techniques. Red strings have a darker tonal quality and Blue has a brighter tonality. Each corresponding individual string, Red or Blue, has the same tension. This allows the player to achieve tonal preference in a single string brand without the headaches of uneven tension.
